Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva met with Vice-President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Vo Thi Anh Xuan as part of her visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

EDnews reports that Leyla Aliyeva conveyed the greetings of First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva to Vo Thi Anh Xuan, expressing her confidence that the meetings and discussions held during the visit would continue to contribute to relations.

During the conversation, it was noted that cooperation and political dialogue have intensified after the mutual visits of the heads of state of Azerbaijan and Vietnam.

In addition to interstate diplomatic relations, the importance of relations between peoples, including cooperation at the non-governmental level, was highlighted. It was noted that a number of meetings were held at the Hanoi College of Trade and Tourism and a secondary school for visually impaired children, and that projects in the fields of education, social and environmental protection would continue.

The meeting also focused on cooperation in terms of developing the tourism potential of both countries, the implementation of exchange programs covering different areas, and the organization of events to better promote the cultures of the two countries.
