The official visit of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, to the Republic of Azerbaijan successfully concluded on April 28. During the visit, discussions were held on the development of cooperation across various fields, and a number of important agreements were signed.
According to EDnews, a special farewell ceremony was organized at Heydar Aliyev International Airport to mark the occasion. The national flags of both Iran and Azerbaijan were flying, and a guard of honor was lined up in honor of the distinguished guest.
President Masoud Pezeshkian was seen off at the airport by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev, along with other government officials and diplomatic representatives. The visit made a significant contribution to strengthening the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries.
