Dear Mr. Secretary General, I welcome you once again to Azerbaijan. Welcome to our country. Your visit is of great importance for the development of Vietnam-Azerbaijan relations. I am sure that the results of the visit will be successful and the agreements reached will be translated into concrete projects. Among the documents signed today, I would like to especially mention the Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership adopted by Azerbaijan and Vietnam.
According to EDnews this is a very serious political document. This is, in fact, a document that raises Vietnam-Azerbaijan relations to a higher level. I am sure that these high-level relations will play a very important role in future bilateral cooperation.
As you can see, among the documents signed today, there are documents in many directions. The negotiations we held today and the agreements reached give reason to say that we have taken a very serious step in the direction of mutual cooperation. The signing of these documents within the framework of the state visit of the Secretary General of the Communist Party of Vietnam to Azerbaijan, of course, increases their importance even more.
As a result of our joint efforts, there is a very serious potential for cooperation in trade, economy, culture, education, energy, transport and other areas. Today, issues in these and other areas were widely discussed. The documents signed in the energy sector and the discussions we have held give reason to say that we will further expand our cooperation in this area in the near future. Today, this cooperation exists. However, issues of mutual investment were also discussed.
The issues of investment by both Vietnamese companies in Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani oil companies in Vietnam were discussed, and instructions were given that the relevant agencies take concrete steps regarding these issues.
