Azerbaijani-Iranian relations have entered a new stage of development, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev told Tasnim News Agency, EDnews informs.
"I believe that relations between Azerbaijan and Iran have entered a new stage of development," said Hajiyev.
The assistant to the president of Azerbaijan also spoke about the factors that contributed to this development.
"After the official visit of Iranian President [Masoud] Pezeshkian to Azerbaijan, the one-on-one discussions held by our President Ilham Aliyev, as well as discussions at the delegation level, gave a new impetus, a new breath to the development of Iranian-Azerbaijani relations. Based on this, our task with our colleagues from Iran is to advance these relations even further," he noted.
