On May 13-15, Baku will host the Aviation Energy Forum of the International Air Transport Association with the support of Azerbaijan Airlines

According to the information, AEF is one of the most influential platforms dedicated to energy and sustainability issues of the global aviation industry, will be held for the first time in the Caucasus and will aim to discuss important issues of the aviation industry, as well as determine future energy strategies, and will be an important step in terms of strengthening Azerbaijan's international positions in the aviation and energy sectors and expanding cooperation. The main topic of the forum will be the decarbonization of the aviation sector, the introduction of sustainable fuels and the role of airlines in the energy transformation process. During the event, an exchange of views will be held on commercial and technical aspects of aviation fuel, challenges of the fuel supply chain, reports on the state of the aviation industry and other topics.In addition, within the framework,priority areas such as Azerbaijan's green economy strategy, transit and logistics capabilities, as well as energy diplomacy will be in the spotlight.
The event will bring together representatives of about 60 countries and more than 65 airlines, with a total of about 700 registered participants.Thus, the Forum will include representatives of IATA member airlines, including fuel purchasing managers and sustainable development experts, Strategic Partners, new and traditional fuel suppliers, fuel service providers and fuel sector leaders.The leading industry event of the global aviation fuel community, is intended only for invited IATA members and IATA's strategic partners in the fuel sector.
Within the framework of the AEF, participants will participate in panel discussions, commercial and technical sessions in the field of aviation and energy, meet with exhibitors and sponsors, exchange knowledge and experience and gain new cooperation opportunities.
