President Hassan Rouhani arrived in Rasht, capital city of northern province of Gilan on Thursday morning on the third leg of his provincial tours in the new Iranian year.
During his one-day visit to the province, President Rouhani is to inaugurate 15 development projects in infrastructure, health and treatment, telecommunications, industry, and agriculture.
The projects will create 3,600 jobs directly and thousands indirectly.
A number of cabinet ministers are accompanying the president in the tour.
This is the third provincial tour of President Rouhani in the new Iranian year which began on March 21. He had already visited South Khorasan and Kordestan provinces.
