Joint Russian-Turkish monitoring center will start to operate in the shortest time, Turkish Defence Ministry wrote on Twitter, Eurasia Diary reports citing APA.
The Post reads that on November 11, Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu signed a memorandum of understanding via video conference to monitor and control the implementation of the ceasefire between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
"Negotiations on the establishment of a Turkish-Russian Joint Monitoring Center and technical details on the principles of the mission have been completed and another memorandum has been signed. Necessary work is being done to activate the center as soon as possible.
