“Nikol Pashinyan had very important messages after winning the elections. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also positively responded to these messages,” said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu in his interview with TRT News, APA reports.
The minister noted that then Turkey and Armenia mutually appointed special envoys: “The first meeting of our special representatives has been held in Moscow. They will meet in Vienna on February 24. Armenia wanted the meeting to be held in Viena this time. It is not such a big problem. We discuss all our steps with Azerbaijan.
The Minister noted that the main part of the Armenian diaspora in the US and France does not support peace in the region: “But as a result, we must take steps in favor of Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the region. We know difficulties in this field. However, courageous steps should be taken. We discuss these steps with Azerbaijan in all stages.”
