International Court of Justice will hold public hearings on Azerbaijan's case against Armenia

The International Court of Justice (ICJ), the highest judicial body of the UN, will hold public hearings on the case of Azerbaijan against Armenia on January 31, Ednews reports citing the website of the International Court of Justice.

It was noted that public hearings on the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (Azerbaijan vs. Armenia) will be held in the Peace Palace in The Hague.

The session will be held under the presidency of Judge Joan E. Donoghue, President of the Court.

The reports emphasized that the hearings will be devoted to the request of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the indication of provisional measures to Armenia on January 3, 2023.

The session will start at 10:00 local time.

From 10:00 to 12:00 will be devoted to the arguments of Azerbaijan and from 16:00 to 18:00 to Armenia.
