"Official Paris itself is the main reason for the intensification of diplomatic tension between Azerbaijan and France. For the last 4 years, this country has been working against Azerbaijan in the most aggressive form on all platforms".
Ednews reports that this was said by Member of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijan Parliament) Konul Nurullayeva.
According to her, especially in the summer of 2020 - since the events of Tovuz, France, which resorted to numerous provocations against Azerbaijan, interferes in our internal affairs, conducts intelligence work in our country, and strives to create its 5th column:
"It is known that two "secretaries" of the French Embassy were employees of the Directorate-General for External Security. Their neutralization by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry is considered as a defeat of the GDirectorate-General for External Security, and this angered the Elysee Palace. The French press explains these events after a series of coups that undermined France's positions in overseas countries, as a factor that accelerated the decision of E. Macron to relieve the head of the Intelligence Service from his post.
France, which considers itself to be a defender of freedom of speech, violates the right to freedom of movement of critics of Macron's policies, contrary to international norms. The French government not only does not allow its critics to enter the country, it even tries to prevent them from visiting other European countries, and for this it puts pressure on other countries. At the same time, the insulting of the statue of Azerbaijani intellectual Natavan - which is erected on its territory and includes the symbol of women's freedom - and the fact - that the perpetrators of the vandalism have not been punished - lay the groundwork for revealing the true face of Paris.
By selling arms to Armenia, France is attacking the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan, encouraging radical forces in Armenia to retaliate. France is not satisfied with destabilizing the South Caucasus, it is dragging the Pacific Ocean region into war. It is no coincidence that Paris uses the Indo-Pacific, as well as the Caribbean-American zone and Corsica as geostrategic military bases in war preparations. It intends to create new military bases here. It is worth reminding that despite the international legal obligation of New Caledonia to acquire full self-government, France organized a mandatory referendum during the most severe period of the COVID pandemic, which was even condemned by the UN.The fact is that the unsuccessful attempts of France today also seriously affect the reputation of the European Union in the international world."
