Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk discussed the possibility of launching joint weapon production between Kiev and Warsaw during their meeting on Monday, Ednews reports.
"We appreciate Poland's unwavering support and the new military aid package for Ukraine, as well as a new form of cooperation aimed at larger-scale arms purchases for Ukrainian needs: a Polish loan for Ukraine," Zelensky said in a post on X.
In December, the Polish prime minister called for a "full mobilization" of Western support to help Kiev in its fight against Moscow. Meanwhile, Warsaw decided to discontinue the provision of weaponry to Ukraine last year amid the grain ban dispute between the two countries.
