El Universal, Mexico's most influential newspaper boasting a wide readership, published an article headlined "Azerbaijan: between injustice and the search for peace in the Caucasus."
Ednews informs, citing the Azerbaijani Embassy in Mexico, that the article by Talya Iscan, political commentator and Professor of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, emphasizes that in the context of the complex international relations, covering many world conflicts, recent events within the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) regarding the Azerbaijani delegation have caused concern and debate. These actions, which appear to be a blow to Azerbaijan's participation in PACE, raise questions about the impartiality and validity of such restrictions. It is worth paying attention to the contradictory nature of these steps, which accuse Azerbaijan of actions recognized by the international community as committed by Armenia.
The author notes that this is happening in light of the recent unjustified actions of the West against Azerbaijan, mainly under the leadership of France: "This begs the question of the inconsistency of these actions, since Azerbaijan is a long-time ally of the West in Afghanistan, in the northern direction and in Iraq, and also plays an important role in European energy security.
