Russia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs has strengthened transport security measures after the terror attack in Crocus City Hall, the head of the ministry’s main department for transport Oleg Kalinkin said, Ednews informs referring to TASS.
“Of course, [security measures have been strengthened], not at all facilities. Both internal affairs bodies are working, as well as transport security units. Inspection measures are being carried out, dog handlers are working with dogs,” he noted.
Kalinkin noted that the police are carefully monitoring passenger flow: “Somewhere partially in terms of passenger flow, the entrance groups have been strengthened in terms of inspection activities.”
