Unveiling the hidden aspects of Vardanyan's Nobel Prize Nomination - Insights by Umud Mirzayev

The Armenian parliament will hold an urgent meeting, and the delimitation of the border with Azerbaijan will be discussed. Armenia's accumulation of manpower and equipment at the conventional border does not go unnoticed, and the voluntary armed units of Armenians also flock to the border. In such a case, can the current tension in the region be accompanied by military clashes between Azerbaijan and Armenia?

Umud Mirzayev, the president of the International Eurasia Press Fund, made a statement to Ednews regarding the subject. According to him, the processes indicate that Armenia needs to be slapped again:

"Azerbaijan has villages that need to be evacuated. The Armenian side, at the same time, the Armenian residents living there, also acknowledge this fact. This is Armenian logic. They create a fictitious, nonsensical, self-destructive biography. In this sense, there are issues that Armenia rejects up to the peace agreement and capitulation act. The issue of joining the lands of Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan through Zangezur has not been resolved. These should be resolved. Today's activation of Armenia was formed through the forces that support it. Both the meetings in Europe and the visits of representatives of some countries to Armenia are mobilizing the separatist forces there. The implemented processes do not lead to reconciliation and peace, on the contrary, they raise the possibility of conflict and the possibility of rekindling the conflict. In this sense, Azerbaijan is firm in its rightful remarks. I believe that Azerbaijan's economic capabilities, military potential, and political will allow it to solve its problems on its own this time."

U. Mirzayev also spoke about Ruben Vardanyan's nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize. He noted that Vardanyan does not meet any of the conditions applied to receive the award:

"This news is another disinformation spread in the Armenian media. According to the rules of the Nobel Prize Foundation, the names of the nominees for the Peace Prize are not disclosed, as it has been kept secret for the past 50 years. This year, the process of receiving Nobel candidates was completed on January 31. More than 2 months have passed. Why do they want to come up now? The disseminated information is only a fiction of the Armenian media. Vardanyan's rise to the agenda today is due to certain financial expenses. It should not be thought that he will be saved, that he will be saved from the punishments that await him in the future. Therefore, he spends as much money as possible on his PR, activities, and international relations. However, it is unlikely that they will register his candidacy. Certain institutions can give their candidacy. But supporting that candidate is a long process. I do not want the Alfred Nobel Peace Prize to be presented to Vardanyan. I do not see a serious reason in this matter. Sufficient grounds, activities, and projects must be implemented to be a candidate. Steps should be taken that serve peace in the world. None of this was done by Vardanyan. He is a separatist, a criminal. Bringing up this issue is intended to alleviate the punishment."
