Unilateral steps and initiatives directed against opportunities for peace in the region are unacceptable, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov told a meeting with Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev, Ednews informs.
Speaking about the current situation in the region in the post-conflict period, Azerbaijan's recovery, construction, and peace efforts, as well as challenges that threaten regional peace-building, Jeyhun Bayramov stressed that unilateral steps and initiatives directed against the opportunities created for peace are unacceptable.
"Azerbaijan is committed to the establishment of peace in the region on the basis of respect for the norms and principles of international law, especially territorial integrity and sovereignty," the minister noted.
