Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif extended his heartfelt congratulations to the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the Eid - al - Adha.
Expressing his gratitude for the kind words, President Aliyev reciprocated the congratulations, extending his own wishes for peace and tranquility to the people of Pakistan on this auspicious holiday.
During their telephone conversation, both leaders discussed the prospects for further developing their bilateral relations across various fields. They agreed on the importance of elevating the ties between Azerbaijan and Pakistan to a higher level.
Prime Minister Sharif also took the opportunity to congratulate President Aliyev on the successful hosting of COP29 in Azerbaijan and extended an invitation for an official visit to Pakistan. President Aliyev accepted the invitation with pleasure, signaling a continued commitment to strengthening the friendly relations between the two nations.
