Argentina's parliament on Friday voted to approve the economic reform package proposed by President Javier Milei. The Chamber of Deputies approved the bill by 147 votes in favor, 107 against, and two abstentions, Ednews reports.
"Today is a historic day; after several months and the work we have done in the Chamber of Deputies, we are going to give President Milei the tools to reform the country," ruling coalition head Gabriel Bornoroni commented.
The law includes investment incentives, targets the privatization of many state-owned companies, and reforms the tax system.
