US military enters Zangazur, delivering weapons, personnel - VIDEO

According to the global flight tracking service Flightradar, two military planes departed from US bases in Romania, the Middle East, and landed at Armenia's Zvartnots Airport on August 2-3.

According to Ednews, reliable sources informed Caliber.Az that these Boeing C-17 military transport aircraft, belonging to the US Armed Forces, carried both military cargo and personnel to Zvartnots Airport.

As part of the classified section of a document signed on April 5 in Brussels, which outlines military cooperation, new-generation US-made weapons were delivered to the Armenian Armed Forces. This shipment included sniper rifles, night vision devices, special communication equipment, body armor for Armenian special forces, strike mini-drones, compact mines used by the US Army, and other munitions.

Caliber.Az has learned that the US previously conducted training exercises for Armenian special forces on the use of these munitions. Following the training, the Armenian side initiated a military provocation against Azerbaijani army units in the Kalbajar direction to test the weapons in real conditions.

As mentioned earlier, a significant quantity of weapons and ammunition was delivered to Armenia by US military transport planes. It is also reported that this weaponry is adapted to the local terrain and military conditions. Additionally, intelligence data on Azerbaijani army positions, gathered by the EU mission, was utilized in this context.

Caliber.Az has also learned that one of the two planes delivered specialized equipment designed to track the trajectories of missiles and other airborne objects launched from Iran. This move takes into account the potential risk of an attack on Israel originating from Iranian territory. The imported devices will be installed on Armenia's border with Iran.

Furthermore, the US has not entrusted this mission to Armenian military personnel. Instead, they have deployed 30-50 individuals who will operate the equipment. To avoid drawing attention from Russia and Iran, the personnel have been carefully selected.

Most of them are US citizens of Armenian descent serving in the American military, along with individuals of Slavic and Caucasian appearance who have emigrated to the US from former Soviet states. These personnel are equipped with Armenian military uniforms and stationed at the Armenian military base in Zangazur.

Naturally, Armenian media might perceive reports by Caliber.Az as "disinformation." However, if they seek the truth, they can openly direct inquiries to the US Embassy in Armenia, the press service of Zvartnots Airport, and of course, their own government to ask about the nature and purpose of these mysterious flights.

We extend the same advice to Iran's Ambassador to Armenia, Mehdi Sobhani, who behaves more like a US agent than an Iranian diplomat. His activities seem solely focused on concealing the real situation from his government. If he were to investigate, he might "see" the US military cargo planes landing at Zvartnots Airport. Even now, if he wishes, he can easily obtain information about the US military personnel stationed on Armenia's border with Iran and might even visit them. But it seems the ambassador is not interested.
