On June 22, Azerbaijan's Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with Mazen Turki Sa'oud El Qadi, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, who headed a parliamentary delegation, EDnews reports, citing the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan.
The meeting highlighted the importance of hosting the 20th Session of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states in Baku.
It was emphasized that relations between Azerbaijan and Jordan are successfully developing on the basis of friendship, mutual respect, and effective cooperation.
The significance of successful collaboration and mutual support between the two countries within international organizations was also noted.
The meeting discussed prospects for cooperation in several areas of mutual interest between Azerbaijan and Jordan.
