Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has dismissed speculation of a rift with US President Donald Trump, saying the two leaders remain closely aligned despite occasional disagreements, EDnews reports.
Speaking to US media, Netanyahu acknowledged that the United States and Israel have “differences of opinion” on some issues but insisted the overall relationship remains strong.
“We see eye-to-eye on just about everything,” Netanyahu said.
“My relationship with the president is fine, and we have a way of ironing out our differences as allies who respect each other,” he added.
Netanyahu’s remarks come amid reports of tensions between Washington and Jerusalem over several regional issues.
The Israeli prime minister also reiterated his opposition to the proposed sale of F-35 fighter jets to Türkiye ahead of President Trump’s visit to Ankara.
