A business forum between Azerbaijan and Greece will be held in September 2026 to strengthen trade and investment cooperation between the two countries, EDnews reports, citing the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency.
Preparations for the event were discussed during a meeting between AZPROMO Executive Director Yusif Abdullayev and Greece’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Maria Papakonstantinou.
During the meeting, Abdullayev briefed the ambassador on AZPROMO’s activities and the current state of economic relations between Azerbaijan and Greece. The two sides also exchanged views on the organization of the upcoming business forum.
The discussions identified several sectors with strong potential for bilateral cooperation, including tourism, agriculture, the food industry, artificial intelligence, digital technologies and green energy.
The meeting also highlighted the upcoming Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF), scheduled for September, which is expected to further promote international investment and expand global business partnerships.
