Elon Musk launched Grok, a new AI system he built to challenge AI chatbots developed by Microsoft and Google.
Ednews reports with reference to zdf.de that the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk, launched the first artificial intelligence of the new artificial intelligence company xAI.
Musk said Grok has instant access to data from X, the social media platform it bought for $44 billion a year ago.
Expressing that the chatbot loves sarcasm and responds with a bit of humor, Musk added that he hopes giving Grok more personality will help it stand out in an increasingly crowded market.
The premium version will be $16 per month
Musk founded xAI earlier this year, saying last week that "artificial intelligence will eventually be able to do everything" and make human work obsolete. Although it was created in just a few months, Musk claims it rivals other AI models.
Elon Musk's artificial intelligence startup xAI is trying to challenge OpenAI, Google and Meta by introducing its first artificial intelligence model.
