The Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sabina Aliyeva has released a statement regarding the civilian that was killed and one injured as a result of the explosion of an anti-tank mine in the village of Ashaghi Veysalli of Azerbaijan`s Fuzuli district, Ednews reports that the Office of the Ombudsman told this.
The statement reads: "Unfortunately, in the last close-to-three years since the end of the Patriotic War, which resulted in the liberation of Azerbaijani territories from occupation, the number of people killed or injured by landmines has surpassed 330, and civilians predominate among them."
