The Mine Action Agency of The Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) and the Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE) team of the International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF) are teaming up to educate over 4,500 farmers who are relocating to grasslands in the recently liberated territories.
According to Ednews, these training sessions, organized in response to a request from the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan, are being held in cities like Yevlakh, Sumgayit, and Ganja.
During the sessions, farmers are taught to recognize signs of danger, understand how to behave in risky areas, and identify warning signs. They are encouraged to be disciplined, responsible, and vigilant in adhering to safety protocols, and are advised against entering areas where safety is uncertain or touching suspicious objects.
These safety measures are crucial for anyone visiting the de-occupied territories, participating in restoration or construction activities, or starting businesses in these areas.
