Fresh from the disappointment of elimination from the Champions League this season, Italian giants Juventus are keen not to let it happen another time — as evident from how they have decided to move forward in the upcoming summer transfer window.

It is Corriere Dello Sport that reports Portuguese talisman Cristiano Ronaldo himself, has taken charge of leading the Bianconeris’ activities in the transfer market this summer, apart from pledging his own loyalty to the club, at least until the end of the 2019-20 season.

The star has also reportedly named a few key players he would like to see at the club next season, as per the Italian news agency.

In defence, the top names being linked with the club, are Matthijs de Ligt ($111m), Raphael Varane ($127m), Kostas Manolas ($72m) and Ruben Dias ($44m). Among them de Ligt seems to have his future sorted with Ronaldo’s former rivals FC Barcelona in Spain, and hence Juventus are likely to test the possibilities of signing at least two among the remaining three stars.

Corriere Dello Sport reports that Ronaldo mostly prefers his former teammate Raphael Varane and fellow Portuguese Ruben Diaz, but all final decisions are yet to be made.

In midfield, Ronaldo’s preferred names are Tanguy N’Dombele ($80m)of French club Lyon, and former Real Madrid teammate Isco ($95m). Though Juventus have already signed a midfielder in Aaron Ramsey, they are still on the chase for some highly-rated stars including Paul Pogba, apart from the abovementioned names.

Young Portuguese starlet and Benfica sensation Joao Felix ($194m) remains the sole choice for Ronaldo in attack.
