Paris Saint-Germain will turn to Barcelona in their hopes of attaining supremacy across Europe after another miserable season in the Champions League.
Barcelona are nearly there as they look to win the treble for a historic third time in their history and a second one in four years. The Catalans have been absolutely dominant on the domestic front, capturing La Liga ahead of Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, whereas they are also one match away from potentially winning a fifth successive Copa del Rey.
One of the most important players at Barcelona during the grind has been Marc Andre Ter Stegen. The former Borussia Monchengladbach goalkeeper has made some stunning saves and put in brilliant individual performances in between the sticks, which have saved Ernesto Valverde and his men a considerable number of points.
Thomas Tuchel’s side is willing to pay 100 million euros for the German, who now leads their shortlist ahead of David De Gea but the Spanish champions may not be willing to let go of Ter Stegen- who has undoubtedly been one of their best goalies in the world. However, Jasper Cillessen who is going to leave this summer may look at PSG as an attractive prospect.
