Manchester United owners, the Glazer family, are planning to take the club off the market after failing to get a bid close to their anticipated price, the Daily Mail reported, citing a source close to the owners.
According to the source, the Glazer family wanted to attract multiple serious bidders but did not manage to do so.
The Glazers said in November 2022 that they are open to offers for the football club, after which Sir Jim Ratcliffe's Ineos Group Limited and Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani submitted bids, but none of them matched the Glazers' expected sum, reported to be £6 billion.
