Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin has invited SCO member states to use the Astana International Finance Center to test new financial products and technologies, Eurasia Diary reports citing AKIpress.
“Financial companies of China, Russia and Uzbekistan have used such opportunity so far,” PM Mamin said at the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the SCO countries on November 2 in Tashkent.
Mamin also suggested to set up a council for development of digital economy.
“This council could become a platform for development of mutually beneficial partnership in introduction of such technologies as 5G, smart cities, big data, block chain, digital assets, participation in global market of digital services,” the PM of Kazakhstan said.
The Kazakh PM has also called upon the SCO countries to use the International Center for Green Technologies and Investment Projects to share advanced practices and to develop sustainable growth strategies.
