The latest images and youtube video of the Shusha Upper Govhar aga Mosque, which the Armenians have disguised under excuse of restoration, have been released.
Eurasia Diary reports that a video shared by Russian historian Anton Yevstratov living in Karabakh shows that the interior and exterior of the Shusha Mosque underwent significant changes. In addition, the video also shows changes at a nearby madrassa. Yevstratov, who is known for his pro-Armenian stance, deliberately presented Shusha Mosque as Iran's historical heritage.
The project was implemented by Iran's architectural company Part Saman Cahan with the financial support of the IDEA Foundation of Armenia. The main financier of the project is Ruben Vardanyan, a Russian businessman of Armenian origin.
It should be noted that the Upper Govhar Aga Mosque was built in 1883. The architect of the mosque was Karbalai Safi Khan Karabakh.
