Serbian Ambassador to Russia Miroslav Lozanski died of a heart attack when he was on vacation in Serbia, the said on Wednesday.
"Serbian Ambassador to Russia Miroslav Lozanski died of a heart attack. He was on vacation in Serbia and was due to return to Moscow on August 22," the embassy said.
Miroslav Lazanski was 70 years old. Before taking a high diplomatic post, he was a member of the Serbian parliament from the ruling party, and before that he worked as a journalist.
Lazanski has published several books. He covered the war in Yugoslavia in the 1990s and wrote several books on the subject.
