Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov commented on the words of Ramzan Kadyrov about leaving the post of head of Chechnya, APA reports.
The Kremlin spokesman said that Kadyrov continues to lead Chechnya.
Notably, Ramzan Kadyrov shared on "Telegram" channel and said that he has been in charge of Chechnya for more than 15 years and has remained in office for more than 15 years.
"Friends, I learned today that I am the only person who has remained in office for a long time among the current heads of Russian subjects. I myself noticed that I stayed too long. I think I fully deserve an indefinite and long vacation. I hope you will support and understand me," he said.
