"There is no doubt that the incident was committed by Iran's agencies of special services."
Military expert Adalat Verdiyev expressed these views in his statement to Ednews regarding the armed attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran.
"The versions put forward by the Iranian side are just lies. The fact that the killer is Armenian and that he is supposedly looking for his wife in Azerbaijan is completely fake information, and this information was created in order to divert the public's attention from the essence of the incident.
The expert says that the purpose of the incident was to completely kill all the personnel working at the embassy.
"The fact once again shows that Iran is one of the main countries supporting terrorism, as it was before, and it once again carried out its experience on the the Azerbaijani embassy staff."
Adalat Verdiyev added that other countries should also be careful about the security of their embassies in Iran.
"I think that after this act, other countries will pay attention to their diplomatic activities in Iran, because there is no security guarantee for the activities of any diplomatic mission in Iran. During the attack, why the security guards and the police from Iran showed inactivity also raises big questions. This once again shows that the incident is a terrorist act ordered by the Iranian leadership.
The person who committed the incident is an Iranian citizen, Yasin Huseynzade, and it is likely that he is related to Iran's Special Service bodies, especially SEPAH," the expert said.
