Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov said on Tuesday that the success of the Ukrainian spring counteroffensive "will be of great importance" for the continued Western aid, Ednews informs via Breaking Times.
Reznikov told Interfax Ukraine that Western partners assure him of support "for as long as it takes," as they have been asserting publicly. "Of course, they are all politicians, behind them are parliaments that approve or disapprove of certain things. And behind parliaments are voters. Therefore, of course, it will be easier for them to advocate new aid packages for Ukraine in case of success," he said.
