Since the start of the year, the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) has transported over 6,3 bcm, Ednews informs, citing the consortium.
Of this, over 5 bcm was sent to Italy, over 0.4 bcm to Greece, and approximately 0.8 to Bulgaria.
Moreover, the pipeline has transported over 25.8 bcm since the start of commercial operations on December 31, 2020. Of this, 21.60 bcm was transported to Italy, 2.80 bcm to Greece, and 1.22 bcm to Bulgaria.
“In 2022 we transported in total 11.35 bcm (of which 9.69 Italy, 1,13 Greece, and Bulgaria 0.44). TAP's initial forward firm long-term capacity (10 billion cubic meters per year) has been allocated to shippers based on long-term gas transportation contracts signed in 2013 for 25 years. The short-term capacity corresponding to approximately 5% of the initial capacity is available for booking through auctions in line with the European regulations via the PRISMA capacity booking platform (https://edp.tap-ag.com/),” the consortium said.
