Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian called at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation meeting on Wednesday for an "immediate and complete embargo" on Israel, including an oil embargo and the expulsion of its ambassadors. He also urged the supply of aid to Palestinians, as well as an immediate halt to attacks on the Gaza Strip and the displacement of civilians.
Amir-Abdollahian proposed the formation of a team of Islamic lawyers to help Palestine document Israel's alleged war crimes and "prepare the ground for the trial of Israel's war criminals and its supporters in international courts," according to Iranian news agency Tasnim.
