Oppenheimer, directed by Christopher Nolan, (pictured) won the top honor at the 30th Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards solidifying its chances at the next month's Oscars.
The biopic won the award for outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture, with the other nominees being "American Fiction," "Barbie," "The Color Purple" and "Killers of the Flower Moon." Cillian Murphy was named best movie actor for his role as J. Robert Oppenheimer, while his co-star Robert Downey Jr. won the award for best supporting actor. Meanwhile, the best actress trophy went to Lily Gladstone, star of the historical drama "Killers of the Flower Moon." Da'Vine Joy Randolph won supporting actress for her role in "The Holdovers."
