"Works carried out in Khojaly schools are about to be done," Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Emin Amrullayev told journalists, Ednews informs.
"We believe that the Khojaly school will be one of our schools that will start to operate in Garabagh in the next academic year," the Minister added.
The Minister noted that the number of students to study there will be known after the completion works:
"It is planned for approximately 130-150 students to study there. Of course, in the process of resettlement of the population, it will be adapted to the number of the local population. The construction works are also being continued in schools in Kalbajar, Zangilan, and other territories liberated from occupation The related works are also being carried out in our territories liberated after the anti-tarrorism measures. An account of the educational institutions there was conducted. There are buildings in different conditions there. The schools in the city of Khankandi will also be commissioned by being adapted to the standards of the education system of Azerbaijan. The activities of the schools will be restored as the population settles there."
