The West is the cause and culprit of the current chaos in the world, said Numan Kurtulmus, the President of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM), at the event organized by the Youth Foundation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Ivory Coast, Ednews informs.
He called on Muslim countries to show solidarity: "The traces of colonialism in Africa must be erased. Colonialism captured not only people's lives, but also their hearts."
Kurtulmus said that there is a huge gap between the capabilities of Muslim countries and their current positions.
The speaker said that the Islamic world does not deserve the current position and attitude: "Our potential allows us to achieve something better. The future will be of the Islamic world. The world needs a new system. To understand this, it is enough to look at Gaza."
