The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre has disseminated details regarding the tremor, Ednews reports.
The seismic event’s epicenter was pinpointed at a distance of 146 kilometers southeast of Mati city, home to 105,000 inhabitants, situated on the Philippine island of Mindanao. The depth of the earthquake was measured at 125 kilometers.
As of the latest updates, there have been no reports of casualties, injuries, or significant damage. Authorities have not issued any tsunami warnings following the earthquake.
