In response to the decision by the United States House of Representatives to provide aid to Ukraine, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that it was expected and that it is likely to worsen Ukraine's situation as it could lead to more Ukrainian casualties.
Peskov also warned Washington it would face consequences for confiscating Russian assets, stressing that Moscow's response will prioritize Russian interests.
Furthermore, Peskov highlighted the potential negative impact of confiscating such assets on the US image and its attractiveness to investors, as they undermine the perception of the US as a safe haven for investments.
