British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced on Wednesday that the United Kingdom will be holding a general election in the second half of 2024.
"Spoiler alter. There is going to be a general election in the second half of this year and at that moment, the British people will in fact see that the Conservatives are delivering a secure future for our UK," Sunak responded when asked about the timing of general elections in the country by the leader of the Scottish National Party (SNP) Stephen Flynn.
