Haiti's newly appointed Prime Minister, Garry Conille (pictured), was sent to the hospital after experiencing a respiratory emergency, according to a government source speaking to AFP.
"He had an asthma attack. He has doctors at his bedside," the source disclosed, preferring to remain anonymous. There is a chance that Conille may need to be evacuated abroad for further treatment.
Conille, 58, was appointed on May 29 and officially took office on Monday.
