A landslide that occurred in the Nanyue district of central China's Hunan province on Sunday resulted in the loss of at least six lives. Local police authorities have reported that a villager's home was destroyed, and approximately 20 individuals became trapped as a consequence. Rescue efforts are currently ongoing at the scene, Ednews informs.
The mudslide caused by floodwaters overturned a house. As of now, 12 people have been successfully extracted from the debris, six of whom died and six were injured, China Central Television said.
