Attack drones have struck the Afipsky oil refinery near the settlement of Afipsky in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai for the second time in 2026.
The strike and the resulting fire were reported by the Operational Headquarters of the Krasnodar Krai.
The drones attacked the facility during the night of March 13-14. According to the operational headquarters, a fire broke out after UAV debris fell on the site.
At the same time, the CyberBoroshno community, after analyzing photos and videos from the scene, concluded that the damaged element of the plant was the AT-22/4 unit at coordinates 44.884990, 38.821568.
This unit is a key component of the refinery, where the technological process of oil refining begins. Footage showing one of the unit’s columns burning and gas leaking from an adjacent pipeline overpass indicates the scale of the damage.
The facility is located at coordinates 44.884425, 38.824718 and has a design capacity of processing about 6.25 million tons of oil per year.
The plant produces gasoline, diesel fuel, gas oil, vacuum gas oil, fuel oil, sulfur and gas condensate distillates.
The Afipsky oil refinery has repeatedly been targeted by Ukrainian drones. In particular, it was attacked on December 14, 2025.
On November 29, 2025, a fire also broke out there over an area of about 250 square meters, damaging part of the technical equipment.
