Local administration in Bruklin district of New-York city has signed official declaration on the recognition of Khojaly Genocide.
Eurasia diary reported that it was announced by the Brooklyn Mayor Eric Adams on February 26, 2020, to the Azerbaijani-American Association of Women.
It should be noted that Khojaly Genocide is still recognized by 16 countries and 24 states of the United States.
Remembering that the massacre of civilians by the Armenian armed forces in the Khojaly town of Azerbaijan has become a bloody tragedy in history. On 26 February, Armenian armed units at night, with assistance of heavy equipment and personals of 366th Russian Regiment attacked the town of Khojaly. As a result of attack, hundreds of innocent civilians, including women, children and elder people were killed.
