Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky shared on Thursday that he expects "important decisions" to be made during the two-day Group of Seven (G7) summit in Italy, which will largely focus on Kiev's defense and economic stability.
The Ukrainian president is expected to take part in the meeting and will sign bilateral security agreements with United States President Joe Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. Zelesnky noted that the Washington-Kiev agreement will be "unprecedented."
This morning, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Puglia for the summit.
