Sarkhan Hashimov, who is acting as the head of the Training Center and advisor to the head of the service, held a meeting with Kang Minsoo, the head of the National Tax Service of South Korea, during his participation in the General Assembly of the Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations held in Chile.
Azerbaijan will study South Korea's experience in the application of digital tax technologies,EDnews informs, citing the State Tax Service under Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on expanding cooperation relations between the tax authorities of the two countries and organizing the exchange of experience and information.
They discussed opportunities to study South Korea's experience in the application of digital tax technologies. Minsoo stated that he will participate in the General Assembly of the Intra-European Organization of Tax Administrations (IOTA) to be held in Baku on June 17-19 this year.
