Shahbaz Sharif congratulated President Ilham Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Ramadan Bayram.

On March 30, a telephone conversation took place between the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif.

According to a “EDnews”  by the Press Service of the President of Azerbaijan, the Prime Minister of Pakistan congratulated the head of state and the people of Azerbaijan on the holy occasion of Ramadan Bayram and conveyed his best wishes.

Expressing his gratitude for the congratulations, President Ilham Aliyev also congratulated Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif and the people of Pakistan on the holiday, wishing prosperity and abundance to brotherly Pakistan.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan thanked for the congratulations. He also happily recalled his state visit to Azerbaijan this year and the discussions held with President Ilham Aliyev, noting that in line with the tasks given during the visit, relevant state institutions were continuing their work to further develop bilateral cooperation.

During the phone conversation, President Aliyev and Prime Minister Sharif discussed the development of cooperation between their countries in the areas of economy, trade, energy, investments, and other fields.
