An Azerbaijani-Iranian business forum is currently underway at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku.
According to EDnews, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Massoud Pezeshkian, are personally attending the event.
The forum brings together high-ranking officials, representatives of leading companies, business leaders, and investors from both countries. Discussions are centered around strengthening cooperation, expanding trade relations, identifying new opportunities for joint ventures in fields such as energy, transport,tourism.
During the event, a number of bilateral agreements and memoranda of understanding are expected to be signed, aimed at deepening partnerships and fostering mutual investment.
Both President Aliyev and President Pezeshkian emphasized in their opening speeches the importance of enhancing economic ties as a key factor in promoting overall regional stability and prosperity.
The forum is seen as a significant step toward boosting Azerbaijani-Iranian relations, particularly at a time when both sides are seeking to diversify their economic cooperation and encourage private sector engagement.
