Azerbaijan and Jordan Sign Memorandum on Crisis Management Cooperation.According to EDnews, a memorandum of understanding has been signed between the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan and Jordan’s National Center for Security and Crisis Management.
The document was signed by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Emergency Situations, Kamaladdin Heydarov, and Deputy Head of the Jordanian Center, Hatem Al-Zoubi.The memorandum aims to strengthen cooperation and exchange of experience in crisis and emergency management, particularly in mitigating the consequences of natural disasters. It also includes provisions for joint training programs and collaboration in addressing climate-related crises.
As part of their visit to Jordan, the Azerbaijani delegation familiarized themselves with the operational structure of the Jordanian center, its modern response equipment, and strategic plans for crisis management.
